Angelina Jolie reveals her best sex scene in the movies, and it was with one of the best actors of our time
The famous actress from ‘Girl, Interrupted’, ‘Changeling’, and ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ starred in a dark police thriller.
Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie, known for roles in ’Girl, Interrupted’, ’Changeling’, ’Gone in 60 Seconds’, and ’Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’, has revealed which film featured her most memorable sex scene, and it may surprise fans.
The actress, who’s long been considered one of Hollywood’s ultimate sex symbols, said her most intimate on-screen moment wasn’t with Brad Pitt or in any of the movies people typically expect. Instead, she chose Denzel Washington, her co-star in the 1999 thriller ‘The Bone Collector’.
Jolie: “Seducing someone with your mind was very exciting”
In ’The Bone Collector’, Jolie plays Amelia Donaghy, a young cop working closely with Lincoln Rhyme, a brilliant forensic expert left quadriplegic after an accident, portrayed by Washington. Together, they hunt a brutal serial killer, with Donaghy handling the fieldwork and Rhyme guiding her from his bed.
Their professional bond gradually turns into a deep emotional connection, culminating in a unique kind of intimacy that left a lasting impression on Jolie.
“Seducing someone with your mind was very exciting,” she once explained. “What’s fascinating is the journey these two characters go through and the deep relationship that develops between them.”
The actress referred to a scene in which she uses intellect and scent to connect with Rhyme, calling it, “the best sex I’ve had” on screen.
A difficult yet meaningful experience
Jolie also opened up about the emotional toll the shoot took on her at the time:
“I felt very alone and a little crazy. From the beginning, I didn’t feel capable of doing this—of directing a film, being responsible for it, handling it physically, saving lives, and stepping into that role as a cop.”
Despite the challenges, it’s clear that the experience left a lasting creative impact.
