Ahead of the premiere of Galactic Battle, the month-long season of ‘Star Wars’ that starts in May, Fortnite is giving away a new outfit: it’s the First Order Stormtrooper. Getting the free outfit is very easy and will not take more than a few minutes, although, yes, it is a limited time promotion, so we only have a few weeks to meet the requirements.
How to get the new First Order Stormtrooper outfit for free in Fortnite: Everything you need to do to get it
As revealed by the official Fortnite website, to get the ‘Star Wars’ First Order Stormtrooper outfit for free, we just need to connect our Epic Games account with the MyDisney account. This is done in the following way:
- Log in to the Epic Games/Fortnite website using our Epic Games/Fortnite email account.
- We go to the settings section of our account.
- Under the Apps and Accounts option, select Connect to MyDisney Account. This will redirect us to the MyDisney website where we will have to sign in with the credentials of that service.
And that’s it, we have completed the process of linking both accounts, and the next time we log in to Fortnite, we should see the notification that the new First Order Stormtrooper outfit has been added to our locker, which means it will be ours forever. This new outfit also has a LEGO style.
If you already have an account on the Disney+ streaming service, you do not need to create a new MyDisney account, as you can use the same login (email and password) to sign in. If you do not have an account on this platform, you will need to create a new MyDisney account to link to your Fortnite/Epic Games account.
Remember, this is a limited time promotion: we have until August 31 at 12:00 AM ET to participate and get this new outfit at no additional cost.
With this new collaboration, which serves as an appetizer for the arrival of Galactic Battle, the new Star Wars themed season launching on May 2nd, Epic Games continues to strengthen its relationship with Disney.
