What is ‘The Eternaut’ about?

‘The Eternaut’ is an adaptation of the 1957 graphic novel by Héctor Germán Oesterheld, a classic of Argentine sci-fi literature.

The story follows Juan Salvo, played by Ricardo Darín, one of the few survivors of a deadly snowfall that instantly kills anyone who comes into contact with it. As the series unfolds, Salvo and a group of strangers must navigate the unknown, discovering that the snowfall is only the first wave of an alien invasion.

The show’s tense atmosphere and slow-burning mystery have made it a standout among Netflix’s latest releases.

Netflix confirms a second season

Following the success of ‘The Eternaut’, Netflix has officially greenlit a second season. While production details remain unclear, fans can expect the story to continue expanding on the graphic novel’s universe.
