Nintendo Switch 2 is getting gold, platinum, and rose gold editions, and they’re already sold out

Nintendo has officially unveiled three luxury editions of the Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 24K gold, platinum, and 18K rose gold finishes. These limited-edition consoles, created by British luxury tech brand Truly Exquisite, are designed to be collectible, hand-finished, and numbered, making them highly sought-after gaming items.

What makes these editions special?

Each of the three models—Aurum (gold), Platina (platinum), and Luxe Rose (rose gold)—features a premium metallic finish, elevating the standard Switch 2 into a luxury gaming device.

The first 25 customers to pre-order received custom engraving, VIP delivery, and a numbered limited-edition badge, further increasing their exclusivity.

Sold out in record time

Despite their high price, these luxury editions sold out almost instantly, with pre-orders disappearing within hours of launch. Fans hoping to secure one are now waiting for potential restocks, though Nintendo has not confirmed whether more units will be produced.

For now, collectors may have to turn to resale markets, where prices are already skyrocketing due to demand.

The gold, platinum, and rose gold editions of the Nintendo Switch 2 have proven to be instant collector’s items, —another testament to the brand’s hardcore-shopper fans—, selling out faster than expected.
