Pokémon TCG Pocket announces Extradimensional Crisis, the new A3a mini-expansion: date, trailer and first cards confirmed
Seventh generation Ultra Beasts invade Pokémon TCG Pocket.

We are still recovering from the release of Celestial Guardians, when DeNA confirmed the release of the first mini-expansion of the Pokémon TCG Pocket set. It’s called Extradimensional Crisis and it’s entirely focused on the Ultra Beasts of Alola.
Date and first cards of Extradimensional Crisis, the new mini-expansion of Pokémon TCG Pocket
We won’t have to wait long: Extradimensional Crisis will arrive in Pokémon TCG Pocket on May 29th. Buzzwole, Nihilego, Guzzlord, Kartana and the rest of the Ultra Beasts will have their own cards with a label that distinguishes them from the rest. How this will impact the game has not yet been revealed, but here’s the scoop.
Some of the early cards show promise. Buzzwole’s Ex card, for example, has a 120 damage attack with only two Grass-type Energies and one Generic. Now, you can’t use the same attack the next turn. Nihilego, on the other hand, adds +1 points of poison damage when applied after using its basic attack.

Again, it remains to be seen what the Ultra Beast tag is all about. Will they create synergies with each other? We won’t know until it’s released, but these types of small, themed sets usually include an unreleased mechanic, like the one introduced by Arceus in Triumphant Light.
