Sydney Sweeney has emerged as one of the most prominent actresses of our time. The actress has become one of the sex symbols of the era, and beyond being embarrassed by her risqué scenes (which doesn’t really bother her), she has decided to take a step forward by adopting a new strategy to deal with the hypervisibility and strange fixations of her fans with a special soap.

In a very particular move, the actress has teamed up with the male personal care brand Dr. Squatch (with whom she has already collaborated in a commercial where she calls the audience “dirty little boys”) for a very special soap. This bar of soap is made from “pine bark extract, sand, and, naturally, actual droplets of her dirty bathwater.”

“It’s my real bathwater”

In an interview with GQ, Sweeney commented on the process of creating this bar of soap: “It’s super soft. It’s really pretty, I’m looking at it right now. It’s marbly and has blues and a little bit of brown in it,” commented Sweeney. “When we were at the [Dr. Squatch] shoot, they had a tub for me. And I actually got in there and I took some soap, and we had a nice little bath and they took the water. So it’s my real bathwater. I wanted to have it lean towards my home roots, so there’s this really outdoorsy scent of, like, pine and earthy moss and fir. So it smells super manly. But then there’s some city bath water mixed in.”

On the concept of selling bathwater to her audience, the actress commented that she sees it more as a health aspect than anything else. “My hope is that it just gets guys to think about taking care of themselves and cleaning themselves with some healthy products.”

According to GQ, the product will be sold through an online platform, although details about the collection, packaging, and distribution process are not yet entirely clear.
