Konami
The iconic Snake Eater song will return for Metal Gear Solid Delta, but it will come with a few tweaks
I’m still in a dream, Snake Eater!

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is getting closer and closer. To continue generating interest in this remake of one of the great titles of the PlayStation 2 era, Konami has released the opening movie for this new version, which includes a remake of the iconic theme song from the original game.
The Snake Eater theme changes skin, but remains very faithful to the original
The video, which you can see at the end of this paragraph, shows an improved version of the intro that captivated nearly 21 years ago, made by Kyle Cooper, designer of the original game title. Along with this, a lot of work has been done on the visuals to show a little more of the cutscenes within the game. Undoubtedly, another detail that stands out is that this is a clean version, where there are no credits of the game staff, although, as mentioned in the description on YouTube, “you can look forward to enjoying the staff credits and interactive elements from the original, included in the in-game version of the opening”.
Cynthia Harrell, singer of the original song, is also back, singing the song again. Although it seems to be the same song, this version has some changes in the tones, possibly due to the singer’s natural age, as it has been almost 20 years since she recorded the original.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was presented in 2023, and despite having spent a few months in silence, little by little more information has been revealed about this remake. At the time, it was revealed that this title will not have the participation of original creator Hideo Kojima, but will seek to be faithful to the saga created by the Japanese creative.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be coming on August 28 for PlaySation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
