The reaction of iconic streamer Skyrim Grandma after trying Oblivion Remastered: “You know I have to look at everything”
Skyrim Grandma returns to gaming, Oblivion Remastered is her next adventure.

Legendary gaming streamer Shirley Curry, better known as Skyrim Grandma, has returned from her brief retirement to explore Oblivion Remastered, and she’s taking her time, as always.
After years of adventuring through Skyrim, Curry is now experiencing Cyrodiil for the first time, and her reaction has been both enthusiastic and critical. In her latest gameplay videos, she reassured her viewers:
“You know I have to check everything.”
A new adventure, but not without complaints
While Curry is enjoying the remastered world, she hasn’t held back on her criticisms. She voiced frustration over control differences between Skyrim and Oblivion Remastered, particularly the weapon sheathing mechanics:
“I press F and it puts away my weapon… but R used to do that! Oh my goodness, I wish games would keep the same controls!”
She also commented on the movement system, calling it “horrible”, despite the game’s visual improvements with Unreal Engine 5.
Taking her time in Cyrodiil
Despite the initial struggles, Curry is fully immersing herself in the game, reminding her audience that she loves to explore every corner. Her first two videos, titled Learning and Still Learning, showcase her slow but steady progress through the remastered world.
At 89 years old, Curry continues to prove that gaming has no age limit, and her fans are thrilled to see her embracing a new Elder Scrolls adventure.
Shirley Curry’s journey through Oblivion Remastered is a nostalgic yet fresh experience, and while she’s adjusting to the mechanics, her love for exploration remains unchanged. Whether she fully embraces Cyrodiil or returns to Skyrim, one thing is certain, she’ll check everything before making her decision.
