Opening Ceremony
Today, during the opening of TCEU (TwitchCon Europe), Clancy announced new Twitch product and service updates that aim to revolutionize content creation, monetization and distribution. These announcements reinforce Twitch’s commitment to supporting streamers, as outlined in its 2025 roadmap, as the platform currently captures more than 60% of the video game livestreaming market.

- Dual format and 2K streaming in Open Beta: enhanced viewing experience with vertical streaming for mobile and the option to stream in 2K with HEVC codec for higher quality.
- Twitch Combos: a new interactive way for viewers to support creators monetarily with Bits.
- Personalized subscription gift promotions: streamers will now be able to manage their own subscription offers for anniversaries or special events.
- Mobile app improvements and accessibility: simplified mobile shared chat, right-to-left Arabic interface, mobile Mod View for Android, and the launch of the Twitch Moderators Club.
- Easier affiliate access and clip enhancements: Twitch eases affiliate requirements and boosts interaction with clips through comments, reactions and rewind streams.
