What GTA 6 would look like on PS2: fans recreate the trailer with San Andreas graphics and it has the same charm as Rockstar’s masterpiece
The new installment of the saga will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in May 2026. In the meantime, a user has imagined what it would look like 20 years ago.

The fact that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6 for friends) is the most anticipated video game of the century is a reality that admits no debate. Rockstar is the queen of the dance when it comes to creating expectation, generating expectations that rise above the clouds and keeping millions of players with that unmatched illusion that many of us feel whenever something big is on the horizon. Of course, we will still have to wait until May 26, 2026, for its release, although some people are so impatient that they have even imagined it as a PS2 game.
As you can watch in the video below, the entire trailer has been recreated with the characteristic graphics of the time, the one we all remember, precisely, from games like the legendary GTA San Andreas. If you could have it today? Would you dare to play it in those conditions?
