Several past champions and playoff survivors are among the LIV Golf contingent heading to Pennsylvania.

These are the LIV golfers that have qualified for the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont

The 2025 U.S. Open tees off June 12 at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, and there is a sizeable LIV Golf representation, with 14 of the 156-man field from the breakway organization. That’s nearly 10% of the entire championship lineup.

Four U.S. Open champions line up for LIV
What’s more, four of them are former U.S. Open champions, including defending winner Bryson DeChambeau, who arrives with a bruising game built for tough setups like Oakmont. Brooks Koepka, a two-time champ, and Dustin Johnson, who won the last time the U.S. Open visited Oakmont in 2016, also return. So does Jon Rahm, the 2021 champion and 2023 Masters winner.

Phil Mickelson is back too, via his 2021 PGA title. The U.S. Open remains the elusive missing piece in his career Grand Slam bid, although we shouldn’t ignore that he’s finished runner-up six times.
Others like Joaquin Niemann, Patrick Reed, and Cameron Smith are in on ranking or past major wins. A few LIV names earned their way the hard way: Carlos Ortiz advanced via the Dallas Final Qualifier, Marc Leishman survived a playoff at Woodmont, and Jinichiro Kozuma clinched his spot in Japan.
Meanwhile, Richard Bland won the U.S. Senior Open to punch his ticket at age 51.
